Join Our Team as an Expeditor at Berries Basket Cafe!

Are you passionate about creating seamless dining experiences and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? Berries Basket Cafe, a family-owned restaurant coming soon to Colorado Springs, Colorado, is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Expeditor/Food Runner to join our team! At Berries Basket Cafe, we pride ourselves on serving homemade breakfast, lunch, and dinner with generous portions in a warm, full-service setting. With a full coffee bar, fresh-squeezed orange juice, specialty drinks, and a pet-friendly patio, we aim to create a welcoming space for both our guests and our team.

As an Expeditor/Food Runner, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by: - Checking food orders for accuracy and ensuring they match guest requests. - Organizing plates by table and ensuring timely delivery to guests. - Communicating effectively with kitchen and service staff to keep everything running smoothly. - Running food to the correct tables and assisting with garnishes or final presentation as needed. - Maintaining a clean and organized expo area. - Supporting servers during busy shifts to ensure a seamless flow of service.

The ideal candidate for this role is: - Organized and detail-oriented , with the ability to stay calm under pressure. - Fast-moving and efficient , ensuring food gets to guests quickly and accurately. - Comfortable standing, walking, and carrying plates in a busy environment. - A team player who thrives in a collaborative setting. - Experienced as an expeditor or food runner (preferred, but not required). - Available for a part-time position, with the potential for full-time hours.

Note: Applicants should have at least one year of experience in a similar role.
