At RWC Group , our Service Writers are the hub of our Service Department. They keep repairs moving, communicate with customers, coordinate with technicians, and ensure every repair order is completed accurately and efficiently.

As a Service Writer , you'll coordinate the repair process from initial write-up through final invoicing, ensuring customers receive outstanding service while ensuring technicians have everything they need to perform quality repairs.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and provide a professional, friendly service experience.
• Create and manage repair orders with complete and accurate documentation.
• Coordinate workflow between technicians, parts, and customers.
• Monitor repair progress and proactively communicate status updates.
• Prepare repair estimates and explain recommended repairs.
• Schedule service appointments and maximize shop productivity.
• Coordinate parts availability and special-order requirements.
• Review completed repair orders for accuracy before closing.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Build strong customer relationships that result in repeat business.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Enjoys organizing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Is detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Works well with technicians, customers, and other departments.
• Has experience in heavy-duty trucks, automotive, diesel, or commercial vehicle service (preferred).
• Understands repair orders, estimates, and service department operations.
• Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
• Has strong computer and communication skills.
