Maintenance Manager

Maintenance ManagerNesco Resource is partnering with a manufacturing company to hire an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee equipment maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance programs, and basic facility upkeep. This role is ideal for a mechanically and technically skilled leader with manufacturing maintenance experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to supervise and develop a maintenance team. The Maintenance Manager will help ensure equipment reliability, facility compliance, production efficiency, and workplace safety while coordinating maintenance activities and outside vendors. This is an exempt, direct-hire opportunity with an annual salary of $110,000–$120,000, depending on experience.$110,000–$120,000 annually, based on experienceMonday–Friday, typical scheduleSchedule may vary based on company needsMust be available to work extended hours and weekends as neededSupervise, train, and develop employees within the maintenance departmentNegotiate contracts with outside vendors to coordinate maintenance workEnsure the facility meets applicable codes and maintenance requirementsDevelop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipmentAssign and prioritize daily work orders based on urgency and production needsOversee maintenance records and activities using MaintainX softwareInspect, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and mechanical systems to support operational efficiencyPerform electrical and mechanical maintenance on manufacturing machineryComplete building and HVAC maintenance and repairs as neededTroubleshoot equipment malfunctions and identify the root causes of mechanical or electrical issuesCoordinate the installation of new equipment and perform mechanical repairs to existing machineryRead and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, mechanical schematics, and technical drawingsFollow safety regulations and ensure equipment is properly maintained to minimize workplace hazardsProvide daily equipment status updates and corrective action timelines through QDIP and direct reporting to the Production ManagerPerform other duties as assignedPrevious supervisory or maintenance leadership experienceAt least 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experienceElectrician certificate or equivalent practical experienceExperience with project managementDemonstrated technical and mechanical competencyAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematicsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to speak, read, and write EnglishStrong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsAbility to perform root cause analysis and apply logical thinking to resolve equipment issuesAbility to prioritize maintenance activities and coordinate multiple projectsCommitment to workplace safety, equipment reliability, and production efficiencyAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds independentlyAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsAbility to bend, crouch, and crawl as needed to inspect, maintain, and repair equipmentAbility to safely perform hands-on maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environmentNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
