Regional Manager - Protein

Department:OperationsJob Description:JOB SUMMARY: The Regional Operations Manager has direct oversight and influence over all logistics activity within a defined geographic market.Overall, you are accountable for establishing priorities and providing leadership to the people at the core of our company operations who coordinate daily freight movements. On a micro level, you produce ongoing analysis of trailer pools, outbound demand, on-time performance, priority of freight, billing, and other details that challenge your ability to balance multiple needs at once.Because this role is accountable for the retention of both company personnel and customers, all functions of this position are critical for maintaining a competitive edge and preserving the overall integrity of company services.JOB DESCRIPTION:Key Responsibilities:Building a positive atmosphere by challenging others to achieve optimal business resultsMonitoring balance, capacity, and demand of loads and trucksCustomer order managementMonitoring outbound freight volume relative to customer-awarded commitments.
