Echo Technologist Lancaster, OH Specialty: Echocardiography Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2464 - $2969 | Shift: Days Are you an experienced Echo Technologist looking for your next rewarding travel assignment? Do you have a passion for providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment? Join our team and make a difference in the lives of patients while exploring new opportunities in Lancaster, OH. As an Echo Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including stress echos, transesophageal echo, 2-D echo with M-mode, color flow, and cardiac doppler
- Conduct cardiovascular diagnostic tests such as EKGs, Event Monitor applications, and Pulmonary Function Tests
- Record procedure data in patient charts and EMR systems, and communicate life-threatening results to physicians
- Maintain and clean cardiology equipment and accessories
- Assist with clerical duties, patient transport, and inventory management
- Participate in cardiovascular meetings and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs
- Supervise and instruct students and new employees
- Ensure patient rights and privacy are respected in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Perform CPR as needed
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Vascular/Echocardiography or related field
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or ARDMS registered cardiac sonographer certification
- CPR certification
- Need 2 years experience in setting
