Family Medicine Team – Pueblo West, CO UCHealth Parkview Medical Group’s Family Medicine team is ready to welcome a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to their team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full‑time, and focused on excellent patient care. Position Details Part of a collaborative, team‑oriented Family Medicine Team in a fast‑paced, robust clinical practice known for exceptional patient care and strong continuity within the community. Bring a positive, caring personality, demonstrate innovation and autonomy, and thrive as a team player. Support staff includes 1:1 MA support, 3 Patient Access Specialists, and PAN Support. Balanced mix of managing your own patient panel and handling urgent appointments across all providers. On‑site lab draws. Commit to full‑time work with a flexible schedule: 36 patient‑facing hours. 100% outpatient. Shared call 1:8. EPIC EMR utilized system wide. Requirements for Physician Assistants Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado. Physician Assistant Certification (PA‑C) issued by NCCPA, required for hire and must be maintained throughout employment. Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice. Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid. Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from either HHS/OIG or the GSA list of parties excluded from federal programs. Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges. Prescriptive authority as appropriate, per medical staff service privileging process. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Requirements for Nurse Practitioners Master’s degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the ANCC or AANPCB, required for hire and must be maintained throughout employment. Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice or compact privileges under the multi‑state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement. Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges. Full prescriptive authority. Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice. Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid. Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from either HHS/OIG or the GSA list of parties excluded from federal programs. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Exceptional Benefits Competitive compensation range: $110,577 – $144,966 annually, dependent upon relevant experience. Quality and/or productivity bonus may be offered. Starting bonus up to $25,000. Relocation bonus up to $10,000, if eligible. Paid malpractice insurance. Continuing Medical Education of up to $3,500 and up to 5 days annually. 403(b) with employer matching; 457(b) voluntary option if eligible. Health, vision, dental, life and disability coverage, including coverage for eligible dependents. Qualified employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program; free assistance navigating the program. Employer‑paid short‑term disability coverage up to 66.67% of base pay. Employer‑provided long‑term disability coverage equal to 50% of base pay, up to $17,500 per month; option to purchase up to 60% or 66.7%. Wellness benefits.
