Senior Gis SpecialistWe are seeking a Senior GIS Specialist with over 5 years of experience in a related field and a Master's degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or a related discipline. The ideal candidate will lead critical GIS initiatives, ensuring the strategic utilization of geographical data for planning and business decisions. This role requires advanced expertise in GIS methodologies, team leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders and external GIS experts.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee critical GIS initiatives, optimizing the use of geographical data for business strategy and decision-making.Drive the implementation of advanced GIS methodologies to improve business processes and support long-term goals.Collaborate with top-tier stakeholders on GIS projects to ensure successful project outcomes and alignment with business objectives.Mentor and guide the GIS team, providing direction, expertise, and professional development opportunities.Work with external GIS experts to handle specialized projects that require advanced technical knowledge.Ensure GIS strategies are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable results.Skill Sets & Expertise:Expert proficiency in GIS software and related tools.Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of geographical data analysis and visualization.Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.Ability to translate complex GIS data into actionable insights for decision-making.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in GIS or a related field.Master's degree in Geographical Information Systems or a related field.Demonstrated expertise in GIS software and technologies.Required Experience:Expert ability in utilizing Safe Software's FME to create and modify workspaces to solve complex problemsVery good proficiency with Esri's ArcGIS ProIntermediate knowledge of linear referencingIntermediate knowledge of geometric networksExperience with UPDM
