Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (4-Day Work Week)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6-8 employees across machining, assembly, welding, and fabrication operations.

• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development of production team members.

• Provide hands-on support with assembly, fabrication, testing, brazing, and soldering as needed.

• Oversee product quality through inspections and ensure compliance with customer and manufacturing standards.

• Troubleshoot production issues, improve workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.

• Maintain production documentation, material tracking, and payroll approvals.

• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture while meeting production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Experience with machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, or related manufacturing processes.

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and employee development skills.

• Ability to read and manage production documentation, inspections, and quality requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
