Position Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) for per-diem Behavioral Health shifts at a premier facility located southwest of Nashville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for RNs looking to pick up additional shifts with flexible scheduling and competitive pay. Candidates with any nursing background are encouraged to apply.

4/6 - Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
4/8 - Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
4/9 - Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
4/10 - Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
4/11 - Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
4/13 - Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
4/14 - Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
4/15 - Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
4/15 - Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
4/17 - Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
4/17 - Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Position Summary

As a Behavioral Health RN, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals in a structured clinical setting. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support mental health treatment and patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patient condition
Administer medications and observe for side effects
Document care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
Collaborate with psychiatric, clinical, and support staff
Assist with crisis intervention and ensure patient safety

Requirements

Active and unrestricted Tennessee RN license
Behavioral health or psychiatric experience preferred
Current BLS certification
Strong communication and clinical skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
