Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse in the healthcare setting. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. It requires utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide appropriate care tailored to patients' physical and developmental needs.

Job Details:

• Position Description: The role includes assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Reviewing patient history, lab data, diagnostics, and reporting abnormal results to physicians. Formulating and revising care plans with patient and family input, based on assessment data and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting, specifically in the IR specialty or similar high-acuity environment.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with call nights and weekends 2-3 times weekly, with potential to float to another campus based on staffing needs.
• Additional Information: Should have a minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience. Prior travel experience is preferred. This role is based in a large Level I Trauma facility, requiring experience commensurate with the setting.
