Trammell Periodontics is a prominent periodontal practice located in Montgomery, Alabama. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking to add another Dental Hygiene Partner to our hygiene department. Skill set MUST include the following:

Ability to administer anesthetic (this course will be required upon hiring)

Educates patients on the importance of preventative care, the disease process and the role of bacteria; provides appropriate educational literature and instruction on home care.

Assists doctor during clinical exam and record findings and recommendations

Prepares all treatment rooms including, but not limited to, set-up, decontamination, sterilizing and cleaning hand pieces and room - - restocks supplies

Acts as a liaison between patients and doctors

Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to stressful situations.

Ability to engender trust from the doctors, co-workers, and patients.

Proficient in using conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques to manage conflict

Ability to explain instructions to others with less technical knowledge

Other desirable skills and experience include:

Ability to take radiographs, including FMX, Pano and anterior PAs.

Skilled in the use of standard dental office equipment including: Autoclave, X-ray machine - Pano, Panoramic X-ray, ultrasonic, Oxygen and Nitrous Oxide, Laser, Intra Oral camera, Vacu-press, and hand pieces.

Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner

Ability to quickly grasp relevant concepts regarding duties and responsibilities.

Experience:

Hygiene license
