About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30; 09:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 3 Years of Experience License: NC or Compact License Pending OK for Submittal Certifications: BLS, ARRT MR Must-Have: - Experience in Adult Outpatient settings - Skills in Hip/bony pelvis & Knee imaging - Proficiency in preparation and/or administration of contrast media - Skills in cervical, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx & thoracic imaging - Ability to start peripheral IVs Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit may result in a cancelation. The expected start date is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week. Travelers must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. The final start date will be confirmed on the Tuesday prior to the start week. Average daily census is 25 with 2 rooms available. No call or float requirements. No weekend coverage is required. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Patient diagnoses are limited to spine-related issues. Special equipment includes PACS with Visage and MRI Units. Travelers are expected to comply with scheduling needs and be open to floating. Pre-approved time off is limited to 7 days max. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. All RTO must be pre-approved and cannot be requested after signing. References can be pending at submission. Pre-start modules are non-billable and must be completed prior to starting.
