Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for new and established patients Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions across the lifespan Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans including psychopharmacology and therapy referrals Monitor patient progress, adjust medication regimens, and document clinical outcomes accurately Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including therapists, counselors, and primary care providers Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, and mental wellness strategies Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system Requirements: Must be licensed to practice in the State of Maryland and have at least 3 years experience working in an inpatient or outpatient mental health setting Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) certification required Current, unrestricted Maryland state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) DEA registration and prescriptive authority in the state of Maryland Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a psychiatric/mental health specialty Experience in outpatient psychiatric care, medication management, and psychopharmacology preferred Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach to care About Us: Alliance Wellness Solutions is a dedicated behavioral health practice based in Towson, MD, committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate mental health care to our community.
