Take the next step in your career by supporting high school students in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity, running from August 2026 through June 2027, offers a valuable chance to make an impact in a school district near Lebanon, NH. Working full-time, Monday through Friday (32-37.5 hours per week), you'll collaborate with teachers and specialists to help students reach their potential.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous paraprofessional experience, preferably in a school setting
- Ability to build rapport with high school students and staff
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in day-to-day tasks
- Comfortable working individually and as part of a team
- Willingness to support students with academic and behavioral needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to high school students, both individually and in small groups
- Assist teachers in adapting lesson materials and activities
- Reinforce learning objectives, monitor progress, and provide feedback
- Support students with special needs, implementing accommodations as directed
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and activities as assigned
- Maintain records and document student progress
