Position Summary Hermes Boutique Manager (Product Sales Manager) – acts as the primary conduit between the corporate merchant team and customers, responsible for driving sales, managing teams, and ensuring product presentation excellence. Responsibilities Sales & Customer Experience: Lead, inspire, and celebrate exceptional customer experiences. Achieve sales, clearance, promotions, and incentive targets with passion. Improve conversion of customers from non-buying to buying, increase spend per transaction, and raise average units per sale. Maintain a high-energy, positive floor experience for staff and customers. Observe, coach, and react to floor activities to continually enhance customer experience and team productivity. Optimize shop-floor staffing and coverage for maximum efficiency. Communicate corporate objectives and highlight the sales team’s role in achieving store sales targets and company strategies. Review sales productivity and individual sales team member performance on a regular basis. People & Team Management: Create a positive work environment aligned with DFS values, employee policies, and local considerations. Partner with AGM Sales to identify and develop potential talent. Deliver performance appraisals with constructive feedback and take corrective action when needed. Coach and train the team to grow skills, confidence, and effectiveness. Actively participate in training discussions. Recruit and select team leaders and sales staff, ensuring professional and efficient interview processes. Product Management: Maintain a high standard of product and brand knowledge for your area and the team. Enhance local brand relationships while protecting confidential sales and performance information. Ensure floor presentation meets or exceeds brand and DFS requirements. Participate in the development and execution of merchandise strategy, including promotions and seasonal buys. Set and maintain appropriate Presentation Stock (PS) levels. Facilitate the interests of key clients through product offerings. General: Participate in corporate charity initiatives and local community activities to demonstrate DFS’ commitment to the community. Promote the DFS brand and maintain a strong, positive professional image at all times. Complete internal reports and contribute to various projects as required. Manage team compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and relevant trading laws, and report concerns to AGMs. Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business or equivalent. 3‑4+ years of retail store experience, with a preference for luxury merchandise leadership. Proven ability to lead through other leaders, managing Team Leads and overseeing the sales team. Success in managing appointment-driven business with a strong retained VIP client base. Strong multi-dimensional leadership skills and ability to thrive in a culturally diverse environment. Decisiveness and willingness to address conflict when necessary. Good problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently, including weekends and outside regular hours if required. Fluency in English and other languages as required by location. Compensation The salary range for this position is $70,000–$110,000, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The role is eligible for an annual bonus program.
