In this role, you will:
- Prepare fresh, high-quality meals using established recipes and menu cycles
- Accommodate special diets and dietary modifications with attention to detail
- Assist with food deliveries, inventory rotation, and kitchen organization
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are maintained
- Work closely with the Dining Director and kitchen team to ensure smooth meal service
- Help create an enjoyable dining experience our residents look forward to every day
We'd love to meet you if you have:
- Previous cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Culinary training or experience in hospitality, senior living, or food service
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, portion control, and kitchen operations
- Experience with large batch cooking preferred
- Experience with special diets or long-term care dining is a plus
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
- Passion for hospitality and serving others
