Auto Body Technician

Auto Body TechnicianFinnegan Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking a talented Auto Body Technician to join our team in Rosenberg, Texas. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for performing high quality collision repairs, including body work, frame repairs, and vehicle paint work on various makes and models of vehicles. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry, and you will be a key member of our team.Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, paid time off, and employee discounts.Responsibilities:Perform all assigned repair and maintenance work to restore damaged vehicles to their pre-accident conditionInspect, identify, and repair any structural or cosmetic damage on vehiclesDisassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as neededUtilize various tools and equipment to perform body and frame repairsPrepare and paint vehicles to match original factory finishDocument all repairs performed and parts used for each vehicleCommunicate with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair progressAdhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work spaceStay current with industry advancements and techniques through training and self-learningRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience as an Auto Body TechnicianProficient in body repair and painting techniquesKnowledge of frame repair and body alignmentBasic understanding of automotive systems and partsAbility to read and interpret repair orders and estimatesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipMust have own tools and reliable transportationValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to pass pre-employment background check and drug testEEOC Statement: Finnegan Chevrolet Buick GMC is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive work environment.
