Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Pediatric Behavioral Health for a 16-week travel assignment in Oregon City, Oregon.

This role supports a child and adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit, providing care to pediatric and adolescent patients experiencing acute behavioral health crises.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for nurses experienced in pediatric or adolescent behavioral health who are comfortable working in a structured, high-acuity inpatient psychiatric setting with interdisciplinary support.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 (1900–0700)
• Scheduling: Block scheduling
• Patient Population: Pediatrics & Adolescents (ages 6–17)
• Charting: Epic
• Float: Yes, based on unit needs
• Weekends: Every other weekend

UNIT & CLINICAL DETAILS
• Child/Adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit
• Patient Ratios:
• Days: 1:4–5 per RN
• Nights: 2 RNs for 20 beds
• Interdisciplinary team includes social services, pharmacy, phlebotomy, and unit secretaries
• Structured care environment with strong support systems

IMPORTANT NOTES
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront during application
• Travelers must be flexible with floating across affiliated facilities as needed
• Reliable transportation required for floating assignments Requirements:

• Active RN license REQUIRED (state requirements apply)
• Minimum 1 year recent behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience REQUIRED
• Pediatric and/or adolescent behavioral health experience REQUIRED
• Prior travel experience REQUIRED
• BLS certification REQUIRED
• Epic experience REQUIRED
• Ability to float between units and facilities REQUIRED
• Reliable transportation REQUIRED
