Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for individuals, companies, and institutions. Merrill is one of the largest businesses of its kind, specializing in goals‑based wealth management, including planning for retirement, education, legacy, and other life goals through investment advice and guidance. The Market Client Relationship Manager (MCRM) leads the overall service delivery model for the bank’s digital offerings and wealth management banking strategy, partnering with market leadership, Financial Advisors, and Wealth Management Client Associates to ensure superior client service and responsible growth. Responsibilities Lead the service delivery model and wealth management banking strategy of the market to drive business growth. Hire, develop, and lead a cross‑functional team supporting Financial Advisor teams and delivering outstanding client service. Supervise financial transactions and operations to drive risk‑management best practices and comply with policies and procedures, preparing to manage branch audits. Oversee the client service experience and approve new client accounts. Lead Wealth Management Client Associates and the branch Operations Department to meet and exceed the bank’s client service expectations and operational excellence goals. Managerial Responsibilities Process & Data Management: demonstrate deep process knowledge and operational excellence through simplicity, data‑based decision making, and continuous improvement. Enterprise Advocate & Communicator: communicate enterprise decisions, purpose, and results, and connect to team strategy. Risk Manager: ensure proper risk discipline, controls, and culture to identify, elevate, and debate issues. People Manager & Coach: provide coaching and feedback to motivate, differentiate, and improve performance. Financial Steward: actively manage expenses and budgets aligned with objectives, making sound financial decisions. Enterprise Talent Leader: assess talent and build bench strength for roles across the organization. Business Drivers: deliver results by effectively prioritizing, inspecting, and delegating team work. Specific Responsibilities Ensure client service expectations are met and exceeded while balancing risk and exposure for Merrill. Manage the branch’s Wealth Management Client Associates and Service Support Staff. Represent the office and Merrill with clients, prospects, Financial Advisor recruits, vendors, regulators, and outside legal counsel. Require diversification and experience with Bank of America and Merrill Products & Services, trend analysis, risk assessment, HR, and broad industry knowledge. Coach teams to deliver a modern, digital‑first service model focused on client satisfaction. Proactively identify opportunities to connect Financial Advisors and clients to the broader enterprise. Manage daily operations to ensure compliance with industry regulations, policies, and procedures. Required Qualifications Currently hold SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65), Series 9 and 10 (or 8) or equivalent licenses and Series 3, 31 licenses if warranted. Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience. Key Qualifications for the Role Current or previous Merrill Wealth Management experience strongly preferred. Self‑motivated and client centric. Expert knowledge of regulatory and supervisory requirements and corporate policies and procedures. Investment product knowledge (e.g., 401(k), Options, Annuities, Tax, Retirement Plans, Money Funds, Mutual Funds, Liabilities, Margin, Trust Operations). Prior trend analysis experience. Strong customer service and communication skills. Strong management skills, including the ability to effectively plan, monitor, influence, negotiate, supervise, and delegate. Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum Education Requirement High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
