Pride Health is hiring a Medical Screening Clinician to support our client's healthcare facility in Dedham, MA 02026, USA.

Schedule:  9:30am-6pm
Location:   Dedham, MA 02026, USA
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 3+ months contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) 
Pay Range: $24 to $26.50/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Perform laboratory testing on patient specimens using a variety of diagnostic analyzers.

• Operate the Clinitek urine analyzer to conduct urinalysis testing.

• Run complete blood counts (CBCs) using a Beckman analyzer.

• Perform basic metabolic panels (BMPs) using an i-STAT analyzer.

• Conduct urine drug screening and mononucleosis (mono) screening tests.

• Assist with specimen processing, including handling, preparation, and organization of samples for testing.

• Follow established laboratory procedures and maintain accuracy and consistency in test results.

• Keep the testing area clean, organized, and properly stocked.

• Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with patients and team members.

• Follow applicable laboratory safety protocols and specimen-handling procedures.

Requirements: 

• Education:  Associate's or bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology.
• Years of experience: 1+ year
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:  Familiarity with laboratory testing and diagnostic equipment, particularly Clinitek, Beckman, and i-STAT analyzers.

• Experience performing urinalysis, CBCs, BMPs, urine drug screens, and mono screens.
