TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Wheeling, West Virginia, 26003!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment Description: The unit operates with five suites. The nurse-to-room ratio is 1 RN per room. Common procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, and hemorrhoid banding. The nurse will act as an intra-operative circulation nurse without sedation. Surgical techs are present in the department. There are no respiratory therapy equipment requirements. Shifts are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM. Staff are expected to remain if cases are not completed. There is no self-scheduling or block scheduling available. Weeknight call requirements typically involve three days per month. Weekend call requirements are one weekend per month, covering Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 3 PM. There may be variations in call frequency based on nursing rotation. Holiday call requirements include availability from 7 AM to 3 PM. The call response time is 30 minutes, usually flexible. Floating between units is not required. Scrub color and dress code adhere to standard protocols. Unit-specific orientation is provided. Knowledge of electronic health record systems is a plus.
