This FQHC has a rich history of working all together to provide the people in their region access to affordable and appropriate healthcare through our services and education. Founded by their Family Medicine Residency program in the early 90 s, the organization has grown into an integrated community health center to include full spectrum primary care, pediatric, senior and residential care, behavioral and addiction care, and dental serving central Washington at multiple sites.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

• General Pediatrician needed to provide primary health care and selective medical services/procedures to a pediatric/adolescent panel at our large, single specialty, outpatient clinic.
• 4/10s with no call, rounding, or attending deliveries and dedicated admin time.
• Expected encounters per day of 18-20+ to meet community need.
• Opportunity to teach resident physicians and med students.
• Opportunity to incorporate special interests into your practice.
• Working with, and sensitive to a marginalized patient population in a FQHC setting would be a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
• EMR: OCHIN EPIC.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or IMG equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited US Pediatric Residency.
• Prefer adolescent medicine fellowship, or extensive experience with this specialty.
• WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license.
• DEA certificate, current BLS certificate.
• BE/BC required
• Great peer references and in good standing.
• Approved for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and health plans.
