Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP)

We are seeking a full-time, dedicated and compassionate  Nurse Practitioner (NP)to join our busy, growing cardiology practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with an experienced interventional cardiologist while providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. We are looking for someone with prior Cardiology experience as well. 

Position Summary

The NP will work collaboratively with the supervising physician to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities include both office-based patient care and hospital rounding, offering continuity of care from the clinic to the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the supervising cardiologist to provide high-quality patient care.
• Evaluate and manage patients in the outpatient cardiology office.
• Perform hospital rounds, including follow-up evaluations and discharge planning.
• Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support practice growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Pennsylvania NP license (or eligible for licensure).
• National NP certification.
• DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous cardiology experience required

The potential base pay range for this position is $115,000-$125,000 annually. 

The pay range listed in this job posting is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered and is not a guarantee of a particular wage. Actual base pay will vary and is commensurate with the applicant’s knowledge, experience, education, skills, training, certifications, and qualifications required for the role.  In addition, the listed pay range is based on factors at the time of this job posting and may be modified in the future based on market data, internal equity, and the budget of the department hiring for this position.  Final compensation and benefit eligibility may vary by role and employment status and will be confirmed at the time of offer.  Benefits, PTO, and Holiday Pay are only available to employees working 24 hours or more per week.
