Job Title: Professional House Cleaner / Housekeeper [W-2 Employee]

Location: South Bay/San Jose Area (San Jose, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, etc.)

Compensation: $23.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, availability, route needs, and performance during the hiring process, plus eligible tips and performance-based bonuses

Position Type: W-2 Employee [part-time and full-time paths available]

Position Overview

Sparkle & Shine Cleaning is hiring detail-oriented, professional House Cleaners and Housekeepers to join our growing Los Angeles team.

This is a W-2 employee position. Team members are assigned scheduled residential cleaning appointments and work in teams of 1-4, depending on the job. Duties may include vacuuming, washing, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, and completing cleaning checklists according to company standards.

For experienced housekeepers who already have private clients, you can be a part-time employee with flexible scheduling based on your stated availability, route availability, business needs, and minimum scheduling requirements.

Schedule

Field shifts are typically scheduled during daytime and afternoon hours, generally between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Minimum shift length is generally 4 hours per scheduled day, enough time to complete at least one assigned home. Applicants should be available for at least 15 hours per week. Part-time and full-time paths may be available depending on performance, availability, and company needs.

Job Requirements

Experience: Paid professional house cleaning or housekeeping experience is highly preferred. Five or more years of experience is a plus, but we will consider applicants with strong attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Driver Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle to travel to assigned client job sites, valid auto insurance, and a safe driving record.

Technology: Must have access to a smartphone capable of running our team app, which is used to view schedules, complete checklists, communicate with the team, and manage field tasks.

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Wages are processed through standard W-2 payroll.

Background Check: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check after a conditional offer of employment, conducted in compliance with California’s Fair Chance Act and applicable federal, state, and local law.
