Veterinarian - Norterra Animal Hospital

This opening is a lead Veterinarian role, Managing Clinical Director at Norterra Animal Hospital, part of Lovet Pet Health Care, a network of 23 general practice hospitals. Reports to Senior Director, Field Operations. Compensation & Benefits $170,000–$185,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) Monthly profit‑sharing based on hospital performance Unlimited continuing education allowance Full medical, dental, and vision benefits; 401(k) with match 4‑day workweek with no on‑call or overnight shifts Path to hospital ownership Duties & Responsibilities Leadership & culture: serve as the clinical leader and cultural driver, overseeing Associate DVMs and supporting hospital‑wide performance and retention initiatives. Mentorship & talent development: partner with support teams to recruit, mentor, and develop veterinary staff through structured training and growth plans. Operational oversight: implement and refine workflows, pricing, client service, and compliance protocols to align with hospital and enterprise goals; strong understanding of operational KPIs to inform decisions. Client & clinical excellence: ensure the best veterinary medicine is practiced daily, support use of advanced equipment, and drive high client satisfaction. Strategic collaboration: work cross‑functionally with HR, operations, and compliance teams to support performance management, staffing, and regulatory readiness. Patient care: maintain a reduced caseload and up‑to‑date clinical skills to support hospital needs.
