Job Functionality

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and comprehensive history reviews

• Provide vital support during surgical procedures by preparing operating environments, ensuring correct patient positioning, and passing instruments
• Offer exemplary pre- and post-op support, including medication management, wound care, discharge coordinations, and educating patients

Education Requirements

• Master's degree obtained from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates with completed clinical rotations focused on surgery

Certification Expectations

• Current and valid PA-C certification is essential
• BLS and ACLS credentials required
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physician Assistant
