Accounts Payable Clerk II

Overview Welcome to Love's! Our Retail Accounting Department is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk II to assist in processing invoices into the payables system by scanning documents, opening mail, and managing the appropriate invoice routing channels. Responsibilities Scan documents into the payables system. Move PDFs into their correct invoice upload folders. Understand the basic invoice workflows for each invoice type to ensure invoices are properly sent to the correct processing channels for approval. Troubleshoot inquiries and issues with direct supervisor, vendors, and internal customers. Follow and successfully complete a set of daily duties, troubleshooting documents that return with questions or issues. Process different types of documents received from vendors. Process documents independently and understand internal customer and vendor questions. Perform all other duties assigned as needed. Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Experience in payables document processing. 1-3 years of related experience. Skills Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office–Excel; Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; Good communication and customer service skills. Typical Physical Demands Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Love's is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
