Role Description

The Managing Director — Player/Coach is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Phoenix, AZ, responsible for both leading a team and actively managing a personal book of business. This role involves coaching and developing financial professionals, setting performance expectations, and fostering a culture of ethical, client-centered planning. The Managing Director will work directly with clients to design and implement comprehensive financial strategies, including wealth accumulation, risk management, and business planning solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing sales activities, coordinating marketing initiatives, collaborating with internal and external partners (such as CPAs and other advisors), and ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. The position also requires tracking key performance metrics, contributing to strategic growth plans for the office, and representing WealthBridge Financial Group in the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience in comprehensive financial planning, wealth management, and advanced planning solutions, with a strong client-focused mindset.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities, including mentoring advisors, building teams, and driving performance in a collaborative environment.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills, including networking with centers of influence such as CPAs and business owners.
• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in securities, investment advisory, and insurance, with a commitment to ethical practice.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to manage both strategic leadership responsibilities and a personal client practice simultaneously.
• Relevant licenses (such as FINRA registrations and state insurance licenses) or the ability to obtain them within a specified timeframe.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; advanced designations (e.g., CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®) are a plus.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and technology tools used in modern financial services practices is beneficial.
