Psychiatrist – Mental Health Services
Leavittsburg, Ohio
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours per Week
Day Shift | No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays

Position Overview
Seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist licensed in Ohio to provide on-site psychiatric services within a correctional healthcare setting. This is a full-time opportunity with a weekday-only schedule and flexible start/end times based on facility needs. No on-call coverage is required.
The selected provider will typically see 12–16 patients per 8-hour shift. The assignment is expected to last at least 6 months and may lead to a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
•    Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning 
•    Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and clinical documentation using an electronic health record system 
•    Manage psychiatric medications and treatment plans 
•    Order and interpret diagnostic testing as needed 
•    Refer patients for specialized treatment or additional care 
•    Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams 
•    Participate in peer reviews and continuous quality improvement initiatives 
•    Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, and scope of practice requirements 

Qualifications
•    Active Ohio Medical License 
•    Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry 
•    Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR Certification 
•    DEA Certification preferred (required prior to assignment start) 
•    Strong communication and documentation skills 
•    Correctional healthcare and behavioral health experience preferred
