Licensed Practical Nurse - Night Shift - Health Care

Overview Work Shift: Primarily days with rotating weekends and holidays (United States of America). Shift Details: 7:00 am–3:30 pm, 16 hours every 2 weeks (0.2 FTE) with holiday rotation. Hourly Compensation: RN $41.29–$56,416.16 per hour; LPN $24.86–$35.84 per hour (actual rates vary with experience). RN Job Summary: Deliver nursing care by developing diagnoses, establishing objectives, defining interventions, and providing comprehensive support to residents, families, and staff. Reevaluate care objectives as needed. Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans. Make appropriate nursing interventions and prioritize resident care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate). Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following physician orders and federal regulations. Participate in physician rounds and communicate resident status changes using the SBAR tool. Assist with discharge planning and education for residents and families. Conduct incident investigations, report complaints, and maintain quality data. Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, pharmaceutical procedures, and the Nurse Practice Act. Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state license (upon hire). 1–3 years of experience in a clinical or long‑term‑care setting (preferred). LPN Job Summary: Provide professional nursing care, assessment, and evaluation within scope of practice, supporting the multidisciplinary team. Complete resident assessments and implement interventions. Manage medication administration using the Pyxis system and ensure accuracy. Participate in care planning and update plans as appropriate. Communicate changes in resident condition to the RN and physician. Assist with physician rounds and use SBAR communication. Maintain competency with operational equipment and report incidents. Collaborate with staff to meet residents’ needs and aid in discharge planning. Qualifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active state license (upon hire). 1–3 years of long‑term‑care nursing experience (preferred). Basic competency in medication administration and care procedures. Strong communication skills and ability to follow facility policies.
