Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)Trillium Family Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric assessment, treatment, and clinical leadership for youth in our care. This role works collaboratively with multidisciplinary treatment teams to support children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges.Position DetailsFull Time - 40 hours/weekCombination of day treatment and outpatient clients in Portland Metro areaIn-person office hours required with some telehealth opportunitiesFlexible schedule, Monday–FridayCompensation: $135,000 - $156,000/yearPrimary ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric evaluations and establish DSM-5 diagnoses for youth entering assigned programsCollaborate with the Access Department to determine appropriateness of referralsParticipate in treatment planning and provide clinical leadership for assigned casesReview, update, and approve Master Treatment Plans and discharge recommendationsProvide timely and accurate documentation for all psychiatric appointmentsMonitor overall client care and participate in Clinical Review Board discussionsPrescribe and monitor psychotropic medications as clinically indicatedEnsure clinical documentation meets agency, regulatory, and accreditation standardsCoordinate consultation with medical specialists and allied health professionals as neededQualificationsCompletion of a PMHNP training programLicensed by the Oregon BoardDEA certification to prescribe Schedule II medications, including stimulants and benzodiazepinesSignificant experience working with child and adolescent psychiatric patientsStrong knowledge of child psychiatric assessment and treatment practicesFamiliarity with ethical and professional standards, governmental guidelines, and community standards of psychiatric careBasic computer and typing skills, including electronic medical record documentationWhy Join Trillium?Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibleComprehensive employer-paid healthcare benefits for eligible employees401k with 6% matchPaid training and ongoing professional developmentGenerous vacation and sick leaveAnd more!Learn more about our programs and mission at Trillium Family ServicesFor physical demands of position, including vision, hearing, repetitive motion, and environment, please contact the HR department.
