Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description: The Critical Care Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role includes working with critically ill patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide essential services and treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and monitor patient responses.
• Manage ventilators, sedatives, and paralytics.
• Perform hemodynamic assessments and interpret telemetry data.
• Assist with advanced procedures such as central line insertion and cardioversion.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain high standards in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• ICU experience is required.
• CCRN certification is recommended.
• Experience with titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and ventilator management.
• Knowledge of automated therapies such as IABP and CRRT is appreciated.
