Overview Business Development Manager – Permanent Recruitment | Data & AI Location: Phoenix, AZ | Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) Harnham is a global leader in Data & AI recruitment, and we’re expanding in Phoenix. We’re hiring a Business Development Manager with a proven track record of new client acquisition and revenue growth in permanent recruitment. This is a brand-new role for a true hunter who thrives on winning new accounts, building lasting client relationships, and driving growth in one of the fastest-growing markets. Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus and Commission What You’ll Do Proactively identify, target, and acquire new client accounts. Build relationships with hiring managers and senior decision makers. Partner with recruiters to deliver top Data & AI permanent talent. Manage the full business development cycle: from prospecting to pitching to signing agreements. Work with leadership to shape go-to-market and growth strategies. Consistently generate new opportunities to expand revenue and market share. What We’re Looking For Proven success in permanent recruitment business development — you’ve repeatedly brought on new clients and delivered results. Strong hunter mentality with the drive to build and grow a client base from scratch. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Entrepreneurial, resilient, and results-driven mindset. Knowledge of Data & AI, tech, or related industries (a plus). What We Offer Competitive base salary + commission.
