Make an impact on young lives by bringing your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to a thriving elementary and PreK caseload in a supportive educational environment. This contract position starts as soon as possible and offers you the opportunity to guide students’ communication skills and set them up for long-term academic and social success.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC certification and state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary and early childhood populations
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and therapy delivery
- Effective communication abilities for collaborating with staff, parents, and students
- Organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload and maintain documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to PreK and elementary students
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Document assessments, progress, and session notes in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and school-based initiatives
