Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse - PACU

Location: Englewood, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 3:30 PM - 4:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). In this role, you will provide exceptional care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. You will work alongside a team of experienced professionals and float between various units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients post-anesthesia.
• Coordinate care with surgical and medical teams.
• Provide support for high neuro volume, stroke patients, and interventional radiology cases.
• Administer medication and interventions as per PACU protocols.
• Maintain compliance with ASPAN standards, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Previous PACU or critical care experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• NIHSS certification preferred for stroke care.
