Location 200 Bowman Drive Remote Type On-Site Employment Type Employee Employment Classification Regular Time Type Full time Work Shift 1st Shift (United States of America) Total Weekly Hours 36 Job Information 6a-630p, 3 days per week Orthopedic and Spine experience preferred Summary Under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Physician, the Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. Position Responsibilities Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during any surgical procedure and provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary. Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures. Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures. Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required One year OR Training or Experience. Required Education High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program. Training/Certifications/Licensure BLS. Surgical Technologist Certification preferred Maintenance of New Jersey State required 15 CEs per year. Hourly Rate: $28.63 - $44.54The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
