About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Regulatory and Public Affairs to spearhead the development and execution of global regulatory strategies, with a focus on genome editing and other advanced technology programs. This pivotal role demands a leader with a unique blend of scientific credibility, regulatory expertise, commercial acumen, and exceptional external leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining regulatory pathways, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, and ensuring the responsible adoption and commercialization of advanced technologies in aquaculture. Key responsibilities include leading the global regulatory strategy, building trusted relationships with regulators and policymakers, and promoting transparent, science-based dialogue. The role also involves significant travel and the ability to integrate regulatory and market-access considerations into the company's R&D and commercial decision-making. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should possess a strong background in life sciences, biotechnology, genetics, aquaculture, or a related field, with a focus on regulatory affairs and public policy.
