Physical Therapist PositionEvaluate, intervene, consult, and deliver services as required by the school districts, community agencies, and HCDE.QualificationsEducation/Certification:Degree from an accredited universityCurrent license issued by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy ExaminersSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Effective/efficient oral and written communication skillsReliable transportation to/from work and between work-sitesEfficient mobility within the work-siteStrong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and meet deadlinesAbility to maintain accurate and auditable recordsGeneral knowledge of computer systems and software applicationsAbility to serve as supervisor for physical therapist assistant and serve as professional student supervisorExperience:Experience in pediatrics and/or the school setting desirableOne year of experience preferredMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Use evidence in practice, evaluation, data collection, documentation and recommendations.Evaluate to determine educational need for services.Provide intervention to support student participation and performance in accordance with state laws and/or professional standards.Document and maintain service-related records.Participate in professional growth activities.Perform other duties as assigned.
