Clinical Research Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Associate to join our team. This role involves working on-site in San Diego, California, where you will be responsible for various research activities including site visits, data verification, and protocol compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-study, initiation, routine monitoring, and closeout visits.
• Train study investigators and staff.
• Prepare detailed site visit reports.
• Verify data consistency and ensure timelines and deliverables for data collection are met.
• Manage the query resolution process.
• Report any protocol deviations and ensure compliance with ICH/GCP/local regulations.
• Develop and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Track and report study progress.
• Collect, review, and track essential documents.
• Upload documents into the electronic Trial Master File (eTMF).
• Plan and prepare training materials.
• Manage Investigational Product (IP) inventory.
• Ensure proper collection and shipment of laboratory specimens.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1.5 years of monitoring experience, ideally at least 3 years.
• Experience in oncology is essential.
• Familiarity with Phase 1-3 clinical trials.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in San Diego, California, requiring presence 5 days a week. While there is no flexibility for hybrid work, the hours can be adjusted between 7-4, 8-5, or 9-6 to suit individual needs. All remote monitoring visits will be conducted from the office.

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $65.00/hr.
