Senior Full Stack Java Developer

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer in Boston, MA.Responsibilities:* Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical designs* Develop, test, and maintain high-quality source code across the full stack* Create and execute unit tests; support functional and system integration testing* Participate in deployment activities and production support when needed* Design and integrate application components for seamless interoperability* Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, maintainability, and security standardsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field* 5+ years developing web-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies* Strong experience with: Core Java (multi-threading, Executor framework); Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, MyBatis; RESTful web services development and integration; JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML, Angular, and modern JS libraries (e.g., jQuery); AJAX, XML/XSLT, and JSON; Application servers: JBoss, Apache, Tomcat; SQL database design, stored procedures, and performance optimization* Experience building and deploying microservices in AWS* Experience using GitHub Copilot in Agent mode to assist with Java development* Strong understanding of web application security best practices* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail* Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize in high-pressure environments* Ability to create cross-browser, cross-platform compatible solutionsPreferred Qualifications:* Prior experience developing property & casualty insurance applications* Familiarity with non-functional requirements such as performance tuning and scalability strategiesJob TypeContractCompensation63 - $68
