What You'll Do

• Perform general orthopedic trauma surgeries including wrist, ankle, and hip fractures, and I&D procedures
• Manage closed reductions and admissions in the Emergency Department (up to 2 visits/day)
• Handle approximately 0-3 consults daily
• Stabilize long bone trauma and arrange transfers as needed
• Be on call 24/7, within 20 minutes of the hospital
• Collaborate with hospital team in a fast-paced environment
• Document patient care accurately, adhering to hospital policies

What You Need

• Valid North Carolina medical license and DEA (NC address)
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Minimum of 2 years experience in trauma and fracture management
• Ability to work independently and handle emergency procedures
• Vaccinated against COVID-19 and other relevant illnesses
