Escrow Assistant

Position Overview FNF® is the leading provider of title insurance and settlement services to the real estate and mortgage industries. The Escrow Assistant role in California’s Central Valley involves providing administrative and transactional support to Escrow Officers to ensure timely, accurate handling of residential and commercial real estate transactions. Responsibilities include file setup, document preparation, communication coordination, and support of signings and closings. Duties & Responsibilities Open and maintain escrow files from start to close. Collect lender/client information and respond to routine requests. Keep data clean and current in escrow systems and Microsoft Office. Prepare, assemble, and send escrow document packages. Support signings and closings (documents, funds, and timelines). Coordinate updates with agents, buyers, sellers, and lenders. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. College-level courses a plus. Three or more years of related experience preferred and required. Experience in fast‑paced lending, banking, real estate, or office environments. Calm under pressure and steady when timelines shift. Proactive follow‑through—spots missing items and closes loops. Strong prioritization: knows what must happen today to protect closing. Quick learner who asks smart questions and adapts to new processes. Compensation & Benefits Potential hourly compensation: $16.90 – $20.00, depending on skill set, experience and location.
