Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical exams and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and assessment of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Collaboratively create and implement patient-specific surgical treatment plans alongside surgeons
• Provide essential intraoperative support, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and facilitating the handoff of surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care that encompasses medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Previous clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
