Mechanical EngineerIMI is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer, a Ball Valve Manufacturing Company based in the Irwin area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and devices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the success of our engineering team.Work Environment: Irwin, PA On-siteKey ResponsibilitiesLead design team in preparation of assembly and component drawings for sales orders, inquiries, and new product development using PTC Creo softwareMaintain configurations, bills of material, and component/assembly data in ERP softwareWork with assembly, manufacturing, and quality assurance departments to resolve production issuesProvide pre- and post-sales technical support for customers, representatives, and our client's sales and marketing departmentPerform design, layout, testing, and evaluation of products, including integration of automationServe as project coordinator on sales orders requiring ongoing technical guidance and oversight to maintain information flow between customer and departments within our client's organization (engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, etc.)Participate in committees and project groups for activities (QA audits, Safety, ASME, CGA, etc.)Critical Competencies for SuccessQualifications and Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in mechanical or other Engineering trackFour or more years actual engineering work experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred Skills:3D modeling experience (PTC Creo preferred)Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Office (Word, Excel, etc.Pay range: $75,000 - $85,000Within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements.
