Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Emergency Department . The ideal candidate will have experience managing a wide range of emergency and trauma cases, thrive in a high-acuity environment, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions while responding rapidly to changes in clinical status. Administer medications, blood products, IV therapies, and emergency interventions. Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity. Assist with trauma resuscitations, procedural sedation, ventilator management, and critical care interventions. Manage patients with medical, surgical, behavioral health, and trauma-related emergencies. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital policies. Qualifications Minimum one (1) year of Emergency Room experience required. Prior experience in an Urban Level I Trauma Emergency Department required; teaching hospital experience preferred. Experience with critical care, trauma, triage, conscious sedation, and emergency interventions . Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records preferred. Required Certifications: AHA BLS , ACLS , PALS , and NIHSS . Preferred Certifications: TNCC and CPI .
