What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care for a diverse patient population, including medical, surgical, cardiac, and dialysis patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, administer non-titrating cardiac medications such as Dobutamine, Cardizem, and Heparin gtts
• Perform post-surgical recovery duties and IV/PIV management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including RT, hospitalist, OT, PT, and ST
• Utilize EMR (Meditech Expanse) for accurate charting and documentation
• Support patient safety through adherence to protocols and timely response to patient needs
• Participate in unit orientation and support team initiatives

What You Need

• Active RN license in Louisiana or appropriate state; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Med Telemetry experience
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam prior to start
• Strong cardiac and telemetry skills, PIV, and central line care experience

• Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation and post-surgical recovery
• Knowledge of EMR systems and IV pump management
