Love dogs, being outdoors, and looking for steady part-time work that doesn't require sitting behind a desk all day?

Beyond K9 Training, Boarding & Daycare is growing our dog-care team in Bedminster, NJ.

We're looking for several  dependable, experienced dog people to cover consistent morning, afternoon and evening shifts caring for our boarding, daycare and training dogs.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Morning: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Evening: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

You do NOT need to be available for every shift.

We're specifically looking to build a team of people who can commit to  consistent recurring shifts each week.

For example, you might work weekday mornings, several afternoon shifts, weekends, evenings, or a combination that fits your availability.

Weekend and holiday availability is especially valuable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our dog-care team is responsible for the daily care, safety and wellbeing of the dogs staying with us, including:

• Feeding and fresh water
• Bathroom breaks
• Walking and exercising dogs
• Outdoor time on our private property
• Play and enrichment
• Following individual feeding, care and training instructions
• Safely handling dogs of all sizes and breeds
• Cleaning and sanitizing kennels and dog areas
• Washing bowls, bedding and laundry
• Monitoring behavior, appetite and overall wellbeing
• Communicating anything unusual or concerning
• Taking pictures and videos of the dogs enjoying themselves for clients
• Keeping our facility clean, organized and safe

This is real dog care.

There will be cleaning. There will be poop. You'll work outside in the heat, cold and everything in between.

But you'll also spend your shifts caring for some incredible dogs on a beautiful private farm instead of being stuck inside a traditional kennel environment.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Above everything else, we need people who are  dependable.

Dogs need care 365 days a year. If you're scheduled for a shift, we're counting on you to be there.

Our ideal team member:

• Has hands-on experience with dogs
• Is comfortable with  large and powerful breeds
• Understands basic canine body language
• Is calm and confident handling dogs
• Takes safety seriously
• Can follow detailed instructions
• Works well independently
• Is physically capable of active dog-care work
• Is ok with getting hands-on dirty
• Can lift approximately 50+ lbs
• Is comfortable working outdoors
• Has reliable transportation
• Is 18+
• Can pass a background check

Professional experience in  boarding, daycare, dog walking, pet sitting, veterinary care, grooming, rescue or dog training is a major plus.

Most importantly, we're looking for people who genuinely enjoy dogs and take responsibility for their care seriously.

SCHEDULING

We're hiring  multiple part-time team members so that each person can have a predictable schedule.

A minimum ONE WEEKEND shift is required. (Fri, Sat or Sun)

COMPENSATION

Competitive hourly pay based on experience. $20 to $25 per hour

Opportunities for additional hours and increased responsibility are available for exceptional team members.

Beyond K9 Training, Boarding & Daycare provides professional training, boarding and daycare on a private farm in Bedminster, New Jersey.

We're intentionally different from a traditional high-volume kennel or daycare environment. Our dogs receive extensive outdoor time, exercise, enrichment, structure and individualized care.
