Welder/Fabricator Hiring multiple Welder/Fabricator roles paying $24-$28/hr (DOE) - No THC testing This role focuses on welding and fabricating steel parts for large industrial machines, using FCAW and GMAW processes. You will read and interpret blueprints, cut and fit steel components, and produce high-quality welds that meet strict specifications and safety standards. Shifts Day (5a-3:30p, M-Th) Swing (3p-1:30a, M-Th) OT on Friday when needed Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to determine job requirements and fabrication details. Cut, fit, and assemble steel parts for large industrial machines according to specifications. Perform FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and GMAW (MIG) welding processes on steel components. Execute 4G wire feed welding and fillet welds in all positions to meet structural and quality requirements. Use fabrication tools and equipment to prepare, align, and secure parts prior to welding. Inspect welds and fabricated assemblies to ensure accuracy, alignment, and adherence to quality standards. Work from drawings and blueprints to complete projects efficiently and with minimal rework. Lift and handle materials weighing 5075 lbs as needed during fabrication and assembly. Work 10-hour shifts while maintaining consistent productivity and attention to detail. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area in a busy production shop. Essential Skills Proven experience as a welder and fabricator working with steel components. Ability to perform fabrication and fillet welds to production and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols accurately. Proficiency in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and GMAW (MIG) wire feed welding processes. Ability to perform 4G wire feed welding in all positions. Experience working as a fitter to cut, fit, and assemble steel parts. Capability to work from drawings and blueprints with minimal supervision. Ability to lift and move 5075 lbs safely during daily tasks. Willingness and ability to work 10-hour shifts in a production environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Background in fabrication of large industrial machine components. Experience working in a high-volume production or shop environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds. Ability to collaborate effectively with other welders, fitters, and production staff. Solid understanding of shop safety practices and safe operation of welding and fabrication equipment. Why Work Here? The role involves 10-hour shifts and regular lifting of 5075 lbs, so you can expect a physically active position in a production-focused setting with established safety practices. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
