Controller

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing family business company in the Oklahoma City, OK area to fill a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support continued growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and taking ownership across the full accounting cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
  
• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
  
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  
• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to leadership
  
• Handle account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  
• Partner with an external CPA firm on tax preparation, audits, and financial reporting
  
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting efforts
  
• Assist with process improvements and implementation of best practices as the company scales
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  
• Strong experience with Accounts Receivable and account reconciliations
  
• Experience working with external CPA firms
  
• Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred
  
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  
• Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
