Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Prior outpatient orthopedic experience.
• New graduates are not accepted.

Assignment Details

• Schedule structure: 5x8s or 4x10s.
• Evening coverage is required at least 2 nights per week.
• Clinic hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-8:00 PM; Friday 6:00 AM-6:30 PM.
• Floating requirements: No.

Location Highlights

Fox Lake offers access to the Chain O'Lakes waterway and sits about 15 miles from Illinois Beach State Park, making it a fit for clinicians who enjoy boating and shoreline recreation. Downtown Fox Lake is near Grant Community High School and the Metra Milwaukee District/North line, providing commuter rail access to downtown Chicago in about 90 minutes. The area includes Nippersink Forest Preserve and Mineola Bay, giving residents nearby trails, waterfront views, and a quieter suburban setting. Wilmot Mountain is roughly 20 miles north, and Volo Bog State Natural Area is about 12 miles south, offering skiing, hiking, and wildlife observation within a short drive.
